With
more high-profile cases of clergy misconduct and criminal activity,
Abomination, a short story, brings another angle into consideration. Abomination juxtaposes how the Church treats
clergy who are involved in criminal or serious misconduct in contrast to those
who are gay or lesbian who want to seek God.
Also,
with the recent Catholic synod statements like “go toward the marginalized”...
I think the Pope would like it.
